Your everyday life, what do you do?
I run the company Stillark together with my husband, Ditlev Rahbek. He is an architect and is behind the design of the kitchens and furniture that embody Stillark's universe. I am a photographer at heart and have developed the company's visual language. Today I oversee our entire communication strategy, where Stillark's values and philosophy are central elements.
What - or who do you find important and inspiring in your life?
I am Swedish and have lived in Denmark for almost 9 years. That is why I have been very inspired by Danish culture for many years now. Between 2004 and 2010 I lived in London where I also found a huge amount of inspiration which has had a significant impact on my life. During the years I worked as a freelance photographer, I traveled around the world visiting many people and capturing portraits of them in their homes. Other cultures are a huge source of inspiration in my life.
Choose a saying that has meaning for you.
A saying I have taken to heart since Ditlev and I had our three children is: "Work smarter, not harder." I really love to work and when I was younger I worked all the time. But in our lives today, I strive to find a good balance.
